Charlie Morgan

Owner & Security Consultant

Charlie "Bumper" Morgan brings decades of distinguished service in both public law enforcement and private security to The Morgan Group Daytona, LLC. Originally from Blue Mound, Texas, Charlie proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1969. After completing his military service, he settled in Savannah, Georgia, where he began a 29-year career in law enforcement. Throughout his time in law enforcement, Charlie served in a wide range of roles, including patrol, criminal investigations, and narcotics enforcement. He was an integral part of several multi-jurisdictional task forces as a drug agent and earned numerous commendations for his dedication and performance. Among his honors, he was named Chatham County Police Officer of the Year and received a special award from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for his contributions to combating drug trafficking. Following his retirement from law enforcement, Charlie transitioned into the private security sector, where he built a second successful career spanning 21 years. His roles have included Director of Security, Private Investigator, and Personal Protection Specialist, serving a diverse range of clients and environments with professionalism and integrity. Today, Charlie serves as a Security Consultant for The Morgan Group Daytona, LLC, where his extensive experience in tactical operations, investigations, and executive protection continues to strengthen our commitment to top-tier security services.

Jennifer Morgan

Security Instructor & Private Investigator

Jennifer Morgan is a seasoned instructor and licensed private investigator with The Morgan Group Daytona, LLC, bringing over 15 years of law enforcement experience and extensive leadership in the private security sector. She began her career in the State of Missouri, where she retired after serving in law enforcement with distinction. During her tenure, she held key roles including Chief of Police, Sergeant, and Field Training Officer. She was also a certified D.A.R.E. Officer, providing safety and drug prevention education to students in kindergarten through 6th grade. Now based in Florida, Jennifer has worked in every aspect of the security field, including supervisory and management roles, special event coordination, and professional officer training. She is a certified security instructor, licensed private investigator, and NRA-certified firearms instructor, qualified to teach the Florida Concealed Carry Permit Course. Jennifer’s experience, leadership, and commitment to excellence make her a vital asset to The Morgan Group Daytona, LLC and a trusted resource for security and investigative training throughout the state.

Bryan “Duckie” Villella

Firearms & Security Instructor

Bryan "Duckie" Villella is a seasoned Firearms and Security Instructor with over a decade of hands-on experience in the security and training industry. Before transitioning into private-sector training, Bryan built a solid foundation working in both state and private corrections, including prison operations and prisoner transport. Known for his engaging and approachable teaching style, Bryan delivers training that is both informative and upbeat, helping students retain critical information while staying fully engaged. His open-minded approach ensures that every trainee—whether new to the field or a seasoned professional—receives relevant, real-world instruction they can immediately apply in the field. With a passion for safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement, Bryan is committed to preparing the next generation of security officers with the skills and confidence they need to succeed.



Jeff Halcomb

Firearms Instructor

Jeff Halcomb brings a lifetime of firearms experience and a deep commitment to student success to our training academy. Born and raised in Kentucky, Jeff has been shooting for as long as he can remember. In 1976, he joined the U.S. Army, where he served for three years as a wheel and track mechanic, specializing in tank maintenance—a foundation that instilled discipline, precision, and a mechanical understanding of complex systems. Jeff is a certified firearms instructor through the State of Florida, the NRA, and the USCCA, and is also a certified NRA Range Safety Officer. His approach to instruction is grounded in empathy and relatability—he makes a point to put himself in each student’s shoes, ensuring they feel confident, understood, and supported. Whether on the range or in the classroom, Jeff is committed to making sure every student not only grasps the material but walks away with practical skills and real-world confidence.

Dan Kemper

Operations Manager

Dan Kemper brings a mission-driven approach to leadership as the Operations Manager for our security team. With a distinguished background in Air Force Combat Logistics Support, Dan has also served as a Fire Department Medic and Engineer—roles that have shaped his calm, tactical mindset and unwavering dedication to public safety. Since entering the security industry in 2015, Dan has consistently demonstrated a passion for protecting others, leading teams with integrity, precision, and a heart for service. His diverse emergency response experience allows him to manage operations with both strategic oversight and ground-level insight. A firm believer in community, Dan is driven by a genuine desire to serve and support his neighbors. Whether managing field operations, mentoring officers, or working directly with clients, Dan’s focus remains the same: safety, service, and strengthening the community he proudly calls home.
